# oof!
I can't be the only one who thinks that pic of him in the wetsuit with the gun looks shopped
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:11, archived)
# No I'm with you on that.
Rubbishly shopped, too - the face/gun-sight ratio and lighting are completely off.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:14, archived)
# I was thinking the seams around his neck
but now you mention it....
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:15, archived)
# Yeah.
But his neck sounds great.

# Every picture I've seen of him looks shopped.
I think he may be CGI and that Norway is actually a level in a FPS.

# some twat who was shocked by the pic when i first posted it
i've never seen him on here before anyway.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:41, archived)
# I wasn't a big fan of it and it was all too close to comfort for me
but if I wanted to avoid pictures about it I wouldn't fucking come to B3ta. Same as if I didn't want to hear jokes about it I wouldn't go to Sickipedia. Sometimes I think people are very quick to get offended at something they could happily have avoided.

# fair enough
i think it's the fact that there's some blurry dead bodies in the picture. personally i think it's an acceptable source pic (obviously), and the picture wasn't intended to get a "LMFAO" response, more a "ooof".
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 14:00, archived)
# I didn't like some of the pictures that got into the media
for similar reasons. Sure, they pixellated the bodies, but they're still dead bodies with someone standing over them holding the gun he used to kill them...

Anyway, I did what I thought was sensible and simply didn't comment and got off B3ta for a wguke rather than get on a high-horse. (Besides, I've posted someone being hung on here before simply so I could rant about Richard Quest, so I'm hardly one to talk.)
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 14:04, archived)
# true, some of the pics in the media were "worse", but i've seen way more horrible stuff on the net so i suppose i'm a tad desensitized
actually when i was making the pic i just wanted one of utoya island from that view, and that one was the only one i could find at the time.

in hind sight i could have cloned brushed, but i didn't, meh.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 14:27, archived)
# In all honesty I thought I was quite desensitised
but I live in Oslo and this all had a bigger impact on me than I'd have expected.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 15:03, archived)
# Well now you've been told.
Next time, I want to see more heart shaped bunny rabbits made out of candy floss all being terribly polite to each other in an enchanted lapine utopia in the sky, Ok?
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:52, archived)
# Also, the picture will be narrated by Joanna Lumley in soft focus and I will be in a dressing gown, using a foot spa and writing new Love Heart slogans.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:55, archived)
I am offended as well, I cannot imagine why you think posting a picture of dead children is even remotely funny. A lot of things on b3ta make me laugh, but some users seem to be engaged in a race to photoshop and post pictures of recent atrocities, sometimes just so they can tag it with "Too soon ?".

If you think I am having a sense of humour failure, please feel free what is so amusing about your picture.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:52, archived)
# Well, initially there's the pun.
The program "Lost" vs "Losing it" being slang for going mad, which is quite fun. He's also photoshopped it in the style of the programme, making the satire so much stronger, which adds to the humour. Finally there's the tagline "Season Finale" which alludes to punning on the victims having seen their last season.

In all, I think it's done quite well; it conveys the joke and captures the gallows humour, but I don't like the font.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:59, archived)
# Pffffft
I mean, how dare you!
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 14:00, archived)
# The font could've been much, much browner.

# hahahaha
i love the end of that reply.
