# Sunday TJ
I'm selling this if anyone is interested:

With two additional Canon LP-E4 batteries, two LensCoat socks, and a Magic Lantern Guide. I can keep it covered by my Platinum CPS cover for the indefinite future as well, so if it get's any knocks it's repair is sent to the front of the queue :)

# My jaw just dropped but I think I have enough cameras
or are you just selling the box ;)
(, Sun 16 Oct 2011, 20:51, archived)
# Ha!
Box, and receipts

It's an awesome camera, but once you've got your mittens on 1D series bodies, there is no going back

# I could only dream but my Nikon D70 and D90 are more than enough for this noob

# ?

bought a new cam with/for my mum last Friday. A Nikon superzoom. Some would call it blasphemy, but it's a really nice cam for its size.

# The bridge and the compact cameras have really come along
there's no longer the snobbery of owning a DSLR
(, Sun 16 Oct 2011, 21:08, archived)
# Indeed
But they're still a bit slow for my taste. I'm talking reaction speed to the shutter.

# Yummy!
I'm still torn between a megazoom bridge-type camera, or finally taking the step to a proper DSLR...

# What's realistically going to be framed and on your living room wall?
(, Sun 16 Oct 2011, 21:08, archived)
# Neither, I don't print out my photos (usually)
It's an annoying choice : the flexibility and compactness of a megazoom, or the superior image quality of a DSLR...

Mind you, I've managed to sell some of the pics I've taken on my little DSC-W1 compact (as stock images).

# Wow
That's unusual, the vast majority of desk top editors and photo agencies don't buy anything taken on micky mouse cameras for obvious reasons
(, Sun 16 Oct 2011, 21:26, archived)
# You're not my boss are you? He uses the phrase "mickey mouse" about 5 times a day.

# Hard not to have the phrase creep into your language
with some of the people I work with a few days a week

# I'll swap you for my old medium format film cameras
