With two additional Canon LP-E4 batteries, two LensCoat socks, and a Magic Lantern Guide. I can keep it covered by my Platinum CPS cover for the indefinite future as well, so if it get's any knocks it's repair is sent to the front of the queue :)

bought a new cam with/for my mum last Friday. A Nikon superzoom. Some would call it blasphemy, but it's a really nice cam for its size.

It's an annoying choice : the flexibility and compactness of a megazoom, or the superior image quality of a DSLR...
Mind you, I've managed to sell some of the pics I've taken on my little DSC-W1 compact (as stock images).

That's unusual, the vast majority of desk top editors and photo agencies don't buy anything taken on micky mouse cameras for obvious reasons
