Depends on the map though. If it's the Metro or Seine Crossing, yes, 3 seconds would be about right.

I went from playing TF2 to BF3. To say it's been an adjustment would be understating matters somewhat.
Caspian border is good if you can get a squad together. The hilltop and forest capture points can be held fairly easily if you're careful.
