I got three quarters of the way through an article on the BBC
about Friday the 13th before thinking "I wonder why they've published this today" then finishing the article, getting a cup of tea, coming back to the computer, checking my emails, returning to the BBC website and finally saying "oh right, the date".
I have no idea who/what Bridie is?

It's a bit like a Cornish pastie
only Scottish. They make 'em in Forfar.

Do you get Forfar a pound?

I believe you do.
Unfortunately, you have to go Forfar away to get them.

Nothing inedible about a proper Forfar bridie.
They're braw!

Therefore, mine was not proper :(
Best pie/pasty I have ever had was a beef curry pie from a small bakery in the middle of nowhere in South Australia. TF.
