According to premiere reviews, Bane is fairly difficult to hear too.
I hear Nolan redubbed Bane too, so I can't imagine what it was like at first.

But yeah, according to reviews so far, it's a brilliant, dark film that ends the trilogy rather nicely. I can't wait. :D

It's also mostly genuine spectacle, with very little CGI.
When you see a thousand people thumping each other in the centre of Gotham, there actually were a thousand extras throwing their fists about.

Indeed. Nolan's one of those directors who actually tries practical effects first, rather than go straight to CG.
