I did do a little squeak of joy when it suddenly aired on tv the other week in the advert break, though. I like stuff that just turns up. Once upon a time songs came out and went in the charts or didn't. These days they play them on the radio for weeks before releasing them.
Case in point: I quite liked 'Video Games' by Lana del Rey when I first heard it. By the time it came out I was sick of hearing it and just wanted it to go away.

I think it's pretty good too...
...but Pharrells vocals just don't sit with me all that well. Perhaps they could have tried doing it in the traditional vocoder Daft Punk voice? Loving Nile Rodgers work on it though.
