Los Trancos Woods Community Marching BandDifferent kind of big band - although I have played in some of those as well. Los Trancos was established in 1960 as an alternative to all of those stuffy marching bands that were seen in the parades of the day. We don't have auditions, the uniforms are basically what you think they should be (but within legal limits,) and the music is mostly what we all agree is good enough for us all to play to the point that the audience actually might recognize the tune.
