# TITS!
The ones on the left are all cunts.

# What does your mother think about this?
The Sky At Night is presented by a white man and a black woman, by the way. Chris Lintott, he was Patrick's protégé, and Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock, who at least isn't German, but it's hard to imagine Patrick choosing her. The other programmes are all cancelled/defunct AFAIK.

What exactly is the point you are trying to make? The conversation on links seems to have been started by an actual, literal Nazi troll, and you seem to be giving him comfort.

There was no great message in the image, it was merely fitting in with the image challenge to highlight differences. If there is any message I suppose on both sides they could be seen as stereotypes. I liked Mr Wolfe and I like Alice Roberts and so does my mum

# Are men and women technology? What do words even mean?
So you're cherry picking to show stereotypes in order to be an edgelord then, eh? Just to provoke hostility, not to make any kind of salient point. Got it.

# Calm down,mate, calm down.

# Bold of you to assume I'm not calm.
Brave of you to try and start an argument with material like that.

# "I'm not fussed what her and the rest do with her time or how they make money."
Thank goodness for that, imagine how upset you'd be if you were fussed.

Ah hang on, apologies, I just assumed you were the same poster and only just noticed the different username. Why the fuck are you climbing into bed with that cunt?

# I suspect the root cause is loneliness.
We should probably approach these worthless cunts with a touch more kindness.

# Cherry picking data isn't very scientific.
Judith Hann was a bigger face of 80s science than most of those.

She was fab but I cherry picked to show stereotypes. Could have picked Mary Beard who my mum also likes.

# That's a piss-weak argument, and a pathetic attempt at a non-climbdown while simultaneously not disavowing your original dog-whistle.
Fuck off back to the incel manosphere, i.e. /links.

It's not an argument. I was trying to make more of a statement that when I was growing up most of science was presented by eccentric white men. While today there is a lot of attractive and intelligent women. If it hasn't come across that way then that isn't what was intended. I use B3TA to amuse myself or to get into arguments.

# i think any kind of adult discussion triggers porcs, it reminds him of mummy and daddy fighting
don't take his abuse too seriously.
it seems a reasonable point you're making. there's a lot more women in science, in science presenting (and a bunch of other areas like politics than there used to be)

I do think Hannah Fry overdoes the breathy sexy thing a bit; she's like a maths Nigella Lawson
(, Wed 11 Mar 2026, 11:16, archived)
# I can honestly say
that I've listened to Fry for years and "the breathy sexy thing" is a brand new concept to me. Never noticed her doing anything of the sort. Got any unambiguous examples?

# All her YouTube shorts!
(, Wed 11 Mar 2026, 20:45, archived)
# I'm checking her shorts as I type this.
I can sometimes hear her taking a breath, is that what you mean? If I'd ever noticed before (doubtful) I'd probably just put that down to bad microphone use, I hadn't thought to associate sex with it.
