# it's a small photographic instrument
of torture, sent into this world to drive Reverend Dan into a state of apoplexy i believe ;)

# exactly
they sold it on a doritos kind of lifestyle thing, when really they picked up these crappy cameras in a st petersburg pikey market and sold them for a thousand times the price.

now why didn't i think of that?
(, Thu 15 May 2003, 23:29, archived)
# lifestyles cost money!
as you probably know, with lomo it's not the camera that matters so much as the *attitude*
btw i agree they're overpriced
(, Thu 15 May 2003, 23:34, archived)
# i'm more pissed off because i did buy a lomo
and it kept breaking

so i bought one of these for 30 quid and it is so much better.

# that looks like a nice camera to me
but i think it may lack one feature of the lomo which is a very long automatic exposure. lomos are cleverer than they look, they were spy cameras ...
(, Thu 15 May 2003, 23:42, archived)
# every long exposure pic i took with the lomo
was just a mass of blurry lights, so not much good for spying... very atmospheric though. makes you look like you know what you're doing...
(, Thu 15 May 2003, 23:44, archived)
# that's why they appeal to conmen
like me :)
(, Thu 15 May 2003, 23:51, archived)
# aaarghhhh
lomos are complete crap! why won't anyone believe me?

nice pic though :)

# Lomos are bloody nice cameras
With a superb lens.
As long as you do what I did and get one at a sensible price (i.e. avoid the official channels like the plague)
£30 off Ebay. now that's value.

When my scanner works I shall post some images.
