we've got two londoners staying in our house for the short film festival here. just two minutes ago I tried to talk to them about b3ta and such, they said nothing personal, but they didn't like americans at the moment. I don't understand how so many brits can be on such a high horse about america's current foreign policy. I mean, who the hell is tony blair, the fairy godmother? it's really starting to irritate me. sorry.

I can assure you that it was worse during the Vietnam war - there were a lot of draft dodgers/objectors here, and they got stick from the knee-jerk mob over a war they were actively resisting.
I don't care much for the US govt, but I have liked most of the US individuals I've met, and the regular US minority on b3ta seem, without exception, to be a very decent crew.
