"why the fuck didn't they make it like this all the way through?"

(this is after all the actiony bits). just seems like he's made a film that is too embarrassed to actually do any thinking of its own, so just borrows from the others. There's a nice twist in the 'fate' bits of the 1st and 2nd ones, but its still just irritatingly dumb for the most part.
