# a day in the life of...

I appologise for the shitness

# yay!
well done dan!
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:27, archived)
# Mwa ha ha!
That's me, that is!
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:29, archived)
# aww bless
it's really not that hard to put a duvet cover on though.
also I thought that yellow squiggle down his shirt was the reason he's washing his bedclothes... :)

# lol, no its
just for effect.
Quite what effect I don't know.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:31, archived)
# terribly exciting.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:30, archived)
# and
terrible acting
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:32, archived)
# woo!
i can empathise with dan there. i hate putting duvey covers on. i have to have the duvet right up to the top of the cover, having excess material at the top really pisses me off
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:32, archived)
# i've just put our winter duvet on
and it's slightly too big for the cover

and that is really annoying too
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:33, archived)
# oh yes. grrr.
actually, are you sure its the right way round? it might fit if you rotate it 90 degrees
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:35, archived)
# nah
it is right, the stitching runs lengthways.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:37, archived)
# I cheat
I put the top corners of the duvet into the top corners of the duvet cover, and then use hairbands to hold the corners in place while i get the rest of the duvet into the cover.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:34, archived)
# Blimey
I just put the top corners in, shake it up and down and then tuck the bottom corners in.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:35, archived)
# maybe you have better reach than me
cos I find it very difficult with a double duvet. Single I can manage without, but double is just too big for little me.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:37, archived)
# awww
i'll come and help! ;-)
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:38, archived)
# Ah
single duvet here :(
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:40, archived)
# i climb in
and do it from inside
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:36, archived)
# oooh, that sounds like fun
i might try that some day
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:37, archived)
# get in the cover
pull the duvet in with you
hold the duvet into the corners of the cover, above you head, crucifix-style
fall forwards onto the bed,
crawl out backwards
do up the cover
hey presto!
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:39, archived)
# I tried that as a kid
mum wasn't very impressed that I tore a duvet cover.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:38, archived)
# i do grab it and shake it down
but somehow i can never get it to my satisfaction
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:36, archived)
# i sleep in a hedge
using sticks and leaves for warmth.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:39, archived)
# Good
you won't mind sleeping in my garden then! ;)
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:41, archived)
# if it's going to be a hedge,
i might as well just find one nearer.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:51, archived)
# a wannabe-hodgeheg!
yey!
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:41, archived)
# i'd love to be a hodgeheg.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:56, archived)
# you could have used
seperate layers, rather than rubbing out.

It'd have made it easier to understand :)
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:32, archived)
# ill have you know
i did.
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:33, archived)
# how odd
cos that's the effect i'm seeing. Ach, well, ne'er mind
(, Sun 12 Oct 2003, 17:34, archived)
# that am
