# same here
two of my friends are wiccan, and we did an ouija board one night a few years ago.

the 'vibes' you get from the glass are seriously freaky. anyone who doubts the board has never tried it...

# my mum got a message from her dead sister in law on a ouja board
And another time when her and her mates were all doing one, someone said, 'I don't believe there's anyone there...prove it' and all the fruit rolled out of the fruit bowl and off the table, box of matches slid across the table and the lamp started swaying.
I didn't believe it till I saw it with my own eyes. It really works. They tell the truth about facts and past, and they lie about the future if they're mean spirits, just to fuck about with you.

# i believe in it fully
nothing has evber freaked me out as much as the time i did the ouija board. its not realyl a story i can tell on a messageboard (far too long)

# I am mixed
because I have seen things.. and I have come to believe in other things, or rather NOT to believe...

I mean, how much is that is really just childish BS hallucinations?

# I totally believe in ghosts, spirits and all that stuff.
But I really hope I don't ever see a ghost, because I have cained it for 15 years and my heart would not withstand the shock.

# Ouija Boards
Good article on Ouija boards on the Skeptics dictionary:
skepdic.com/ouija.html
Good test they mention: Try it with a blindfold and watch the spirits lose the ability to spell.

# Don't You Think
that the ouija board stuff is just one GIANT placebo?
i mean stories upon stories upon stories make people believe in all sorts of crazy stuff

tbh im a physics man at heart, and if it dont obey the physical laws, it don't exist!

probably very narrow minded of me and i will try the ouija board one day + i will goto one of these spirit sessions just to see what they are on about, but i have a TOTALLY diffirent theory on the "spirit world" altogether, but this post is long enough so i wont bore you

# Actually,
The spirits/demons whatever they are use your eyes in the same way they use your arms to move the glass. They are terrible spellers anyway.

If you all put your hands by your side, the glass wouldn't move would it?

# I haven't done it...
but I don't doubt it... it scares the creaky crap out of me.

Three of my friends took part in some kind of Ouija Board thing when I was at college, and they reported to everyone that it was complete rubbish -- as none of them knew anyone called Kate M. (which was what it had spelt out).

Two weeks later they were all involved in a very serious car accident in a car belonging to an asian guy they had just met called Katem.

Me no like.

# indeed. If only
we could train the bloody ouija board spirits
to do something useful, like drive electrical
generators or something. Instead they just
prat about, wasting all that effort to merely
scare and confuse the odd person here or there
-- damn those lazy, shiftless workshy spirits!
Get a job, you hear me?

Damn, this sodding ouija board isn't working.

Edit: on the subject of electrical generators,
go see 2228864
