is there anyway i can convert a scene on my dvd to an mpg or a mov or something? do i need some fancy program that can be downloaded for free off the web? ps i am on a mac

# If you're on OSX and have Quicktime Pro you should be able to play
the DVD through QTP, and select a scene to convert down to mov or avi.
