Being remade by speilberg, how will no doubt fuck it right up. Just go on the original Wells text man, don't set it in america and have them nuke them either.

I just hate the fact that if something is not in English then it's immediately grounds for a remake, even if it's only 5 years old or so (Le Cage au Foilles for example).
Mind you, I'd be interesting if they did the sequel to League of Extrordinary Gentlemen (as that's apparently set during "War of the World").
