not that you'd hear it through the vacuum.
That said, it's not a perfect vacuum... so you could amplify the little noise that is picked up for feedback.

So thats why the Enterprise has a deflector thingy that looks like a satellite. Allows kirk to hear all the pretty bangs!

vertically, if you see that i mean. you might also find that it helps to have a moving background too, to give the impression of moving through the sky. does that make any sense?
still, woo, though - it's approximately 800 times better than the first 20 or so animations that I made!
