I've been trying for ISIHAC tickets for the last few years
but they always vanish immediately.
I want to go see it before Humph is dead!

Have you tried E-mailing them and asking if they could reserve tickets
for the next lot that go on sale? Might work.

One of the problems is that they only record three shows for one series
(for those of you that hadn't guessed)

No, they don't reserve them
They email me when tickets are available then it's a free for all. Those bastards on the mailing list who get into work on time get to see the email first and get all the tickets. Grrrr!

I would
if I knew when they were going to email!
The woman running the list doesn't reserve tickets, you have to phone the venue.

Nightmare.
Hope you get them soon!
Might be worth looking on ebay after they've gone on sale?

keep trying...
I saw it a couple of years ago and it was grand. Radio recordings are better than TV recordings, which always descend into interminable tedium.

Not always.
Went to see them filming the new series of 2 Pints of Lager... a few weeks back. That was fun, if only because I'd never seen a sitcom being filmed before.

Spot on Dave!
TV programme recordings most often have loads and loads of retakes at the end where you have to pretend to laugh at something that wasn't funny in the first place.

I've seen quite a few
'specially when I worked at the Beeb and spoke nicely to the ticket lady but I agree, they can be very tedious.

Most of the tv shows I've seen filmed have been chat type shows
Like Room 101 or The Late Edition (which we're off to see again next week).
Which don't seem so bad as there aren't many retakes, they just sit and talk and edit it down later.
