Anyone know what format video phones/ 3g phones play video in? Is it as simple as - save file as mpg4, copy to phone and send or is there a specific format for downloadable videos? Anyone here develop 3g stuff could offer any info?

No idea
My phone doesn't do video.
On the other hand, it's battery lasts nearly 2 weeks and it's as small and light as your bluetooth headset.

You'll be thinking of either 3gp format for older phones
or MP4s on the newer fangled devices. Best bet is to look for the software designed for the phone. Although there is a Nokia Multimedia Developers kit available somewhere on teh interweb.

good post
and it makes me so sad that the word 'liberal' has become a dirty word over there.
I've had the same thing myself. It doesn't matter how good an argument or point you have, all they need to do is call you a liberal to totally trash your argument and prove you wrong.

We seem to have labels in society
where if you manage to attach one to someone, all rational argument goes out of the window and they are denounced as something awful. It's depressing. These labels seem to exist as substitutes for thinking.
