# I hate thread wasters
Morning troops, ready for the daily battle against the tedious grind of work?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:15, archived)
# Nope
not in the slightest.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:17, archived)
# SIR YES SIR!!!
Ah work, lovely - I have lots of typing to do and my fingers hurt from hammering my guitwanger @ practice yesterday.... Yay for *Bucks!!
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:17, archived)
# Tedious grind?
Every day is a delight m'dear. Shame my inbox is full of idiots.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:17, archived)
# Work
is shit.

FACT!
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:18, archived)
# It is
when you're waiting to be paid by for different jobs that you've finished like I am, and there's a fifth that you might not even get paid for. Ho hum. How's you mate?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:21, archived)
# Better now I've seen I got frontpages!
But apart from that bored of this job, I've got to get out of here this year, I'm slowly going madderer.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:23, archived)
# You being madderererer
is a very worrying prospect. I can tell you're wasting away in that office. Time to spread the ninja love around the world by getting into some hardcore temp-to-permanent jobs. Hurrah!
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:30, archived)
# I don't really want to
go temping, I have a fictional Girlfriend, a flat and a large appetite to support.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:33, archived)
# Temping is Hell
FACT
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:35, archived)
# Fair point
so what kind of job are you looking for?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:42, archived)
# Ah,
that age old question, ideally something that involves art/computers but specifically, I don't really know.
Anything different would be good.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:45, archived)
# You
could always try entertainment, you're one of the best comperes (sp?) CJC has had.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:52, archived)
# Thank you,
I did try stand up comedy but I was crap.

# at least you tried it
I wouldn't have the bottle to do that. Unless, of course, it was just in front of a few mates?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 10:05, archived)
# The first one was,
the second one wasn't and the third one was an Open Mike Spot... I have never been so scared in my life.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 10:24, archived)
# never been scared in your life?

(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 10:29, archived)
# NO
WYH to your frontpage BTW
Marvellous.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:18, archived)
# Frontpage?
Blimey, I didn't even look.
Edit: So I have, Woo me!
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:19, archived)
# yes the front page
is looking particularly lovely at the moment :)
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:26, archived)

with that preloader?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:30, archived)
# Sorry sir

I will look at it, had enough of flash for a bit. Am using photoshop for a bit.
Thanks for the link, I *will* look into it! :)
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:32, archived)
# *slaps hand*
Naughty!

...

Fair enough. Flash is fun, but you can get rather carried away with it sometimes... Next on my list of 'things I'd like to learn' is Shockwave Director :D Then I could make some really good games without having to rely on frame rates and suchlike.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:44, archived)
# I'm
trying to - i had 2 days last week to try as well - i think my will to work has stayed in 2002.

(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:22, archived)
# Thats not

(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:24, archived)
# It came up when I did a Google
search for "pink jumper" so it must be true. Or are you dissing Google?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:27, archived)
# Tis sometimes refered to as a jumpsuit
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:50, archived)
# nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
not even a tiny bit.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:25, archived)
# does
the button at the bottom say "hack" ? if so does it mean the trousers off - it'd be closer to a jumper then...if you put the legs on your arms.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:27, archived)
# *Question*
do they match your pants?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:21, archived)
# In
the land of the button down oxford - the pink'ed jumper is queen ?
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:21, archived)
# oh shite
I've just discovered the girl upstairs has had her eye on this exact jumper for over a month and couldn't find any her size in the sale... I'm in BEEG trouble.

*slaps own wrist*

Thanks for the pressie, it turned up after Christmas which prolonged the paper-ripping frenzy a bit longer!
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:31, archived)
# oh I'm sorry about that.
I gave the pressies to tomsk to post, 2 weeks before Christmas, but discovered them sitting in a plastic bag by his desk 2 days before Christmas eve... so they didn't arrive in time.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:40, archived)

(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:27, archived)
# same here.
It also has a sort of inside-outy double thickness on the cuffs so it's EXTRA warm, like gloves.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:29, archived)
# This jumper would be much better
though, if it had holes where you could poke your thumbs through.
(, Mon 6 Jan 2003, 9:31, archived)
# do
you have any scissors and a needle and thread ? that'd do it - in a blue peter type fashion...
