We did Dracula the Panto this year: guy who does the videos for us had obviously done the same thing and the cover photo was of a foggy field. So all the photos taken of the show, the cover art for the programme wasn't good enough then?

It depends what you are planiing to do
with them. Unless you want to host and serve large files you may as well get a blog page, tart it up and host your images at cr3's place ( the b3ta hosting site, not just for b3ta )

then why look any further than your ISP?
I'm sure they provide enough space for hosting pages. just use outside file dumps for your pics and files.
