[challenge entry] has anyone done any bridget riley pix in word yet?

This is a version of Black to white discs (1961-62) and it's my first post in something like 2 years nadav.harel.org.il/Bridget_Riley/

From the Office Art challenge. See all 328 entries (closed)

[challenge entry] And here's another one in the same thread

A Word version of Loss (1964).
The rows should really have been smaller to get them looking right, but It was impossible to get them so.

That's me.

Who's Bridget Riley?

# dunno
has something to do with big knickers though

# see the
link that was in my first post (http://nadav.harel.org.il/Bridget_Riley/).

She painted optical illusions and stripes and stuff. Much of it is just stripes, a bit like Damien Hirst's dot paintings, but some of it is cool. Her style became known as op-art

# Well Cool
Like that very much. This is exactly the sort of nerdy thing I like doing.

All I've managed in Word are a couple of crappy Mondrians, but they're easy peasy.

These look well classy. I was going to have a go at Riley's INTAKE, but I'm still floored.

(I pea-roasted an Excel Mona Lisa from ages ago, see compo entries from last night)

Well done, mate.
