# this would be a job for inspector morose
but he's dead

So we'll have to get DCI Barnaby on the case
(, Thu 1 Nov 2007, 21:50, archived)

get that old lady from 'Murder she wrote' to investigate what happened to Morse.
(, Thu 1 Nov 2007, 21:55, archived)
# hmm
I bet he was one of her friends

you'd think they'd get wind of it now

I bet if she had a reuinion dinner with her remaining buddies she'd be sitting at the dinner table all alone, crying, because nobody turned up due to being either dead (due to being murdered in some complex contrivance of circumstances) or scared shitless that they'd end up mysteriously dead (due to being murdered in some complex contrivance of circumstances)

silly jess! ur murderin ur frndz!

# Pffft
You must have loads of these by now?
Everytime I refresh b3ta there is one on the page :)

Also TJ: Does anyone know how I can make my own font? I just downloaded 'MyOwnFont' not being quite observant enough to realise it's just for tablet pcs.
The next best offer seems to be a guy that makes a .ttf file for you from whatever it is he asks you to scan in, but call me picky- he's charging for it AND saying it's non-exclusive and he can then use it however he sees fit :s

# I found something a while back, but I couldn't be bothered in the end.
I can't remember what it is, but it didn't take very long to find, why not just try a few things in google?

# i've made my own font before now
it was a while ago and i used an 'appraisal' copy of something called fontographer, which may have been mac-only

i recall scanning in my artwork, converting to vectors using adobe streamline, then importing them into fontographer

i have no idea if that is in any way helpful to you
(, Thu 1 Nov 2007, 21:38, archived)
# Hahah, not really
But it is in as much as it gives me an understanding of how it could be done, I'll have a look at that fontographer anyway

Thanks :)
(, Thu 1 Nov 2007, 21:42, archived)
# I had a program called, imaginatively, "font creator"
I don't think it would automatically convert a scanned image into a font, you had to do all the tracing yourself, but you can have it if you like.
