# Headphones often make eeeee sounds
when electrical interference from other computer bits messes about with the audio signal

It's nothing to be worried about, but it's damn difficult to fix. Best thing is to get a USB soundcard cause then the audio electronics are away from the other circuitry.

# It goes on and off.
Sometimes it's always EEEEEing at me, sometimes it's going "EEEEblip.... EEEEEEEblipblip..." and sometimes it's completely silent.

Damn that interference. If it is interference. It could be goblins.
(, Thu 1 Nov 2007, 23:49, archived)
# You can generally tell if it's interference
as the sound relates to what the computer is currently doing.

My video card interferes with my sound card, so when I change windows and it has to redraw the screen, I hear a popping sound.

# I don't give a shit how you post. As far as I'm concerned you can post what you want.
But other people might've asked that you linked rather than leeched it (or uploaded it to imageshack or the b3ta server), and not created a new thread for it.
