# Does anyone know a good hardware importer?

I want a Wacom Cintiq but am trying to dodge the massive price hike you get from buying it in the UK (and make best use of the weak dollar!)

# Doesn't Amazon.com (the yank site)
Do stuff like that?

# didn't think so, but I'll double check

# I was going for the "reliable" choice
There is always a chance that UK Customs and Excise grab it and add VAT and Duty which means you could end up paying as much as you would in the UK. Or more.
It's happened to me a few times when living in the UK and ordering from non-EU countries.

Edit: Here ya go:

# You could buy as a gift for a friend in the US
who could then post it to you as a reward for your charitableness. Or are private parcels subject to import duty too?
