not very distant ones for me. and with AS levels coming up, I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of intentionally blank pages to come. I did see one that said "there are no questions on this page", which seemed to make more sense...

end of an era, 'tis.
there was someone i knew who fell foul of blank pages without the "this is intentionally blank" message in his maths gcse, and he didn't realize until 10 minutes before the end when he glanced across and saw someone turning a page he didn't have.
so the "intentionally blank" messages have no purpose at all, realy.

especially for my year group, we were the first year to have to do the A2 and ASs, and half the time, not even the teachers new what was going on

when i would've done them, ASs were just for people that couldn't do A levels. as i "ahh, he's a bit dim, let him do an AS level"
i could be wrong.

but they were supplementary for my year (took ALevels in 98). as in, if you were ahead of the game in physics, you took an as level in advanced physics.

Seems like education isn't working, after all:

i guess this is meant to remind me of all those exam papers that say "This page is blank" when it obviously wasn't.
They've changed them all to "There are no questions printed on this page" now, so i don't get to spend the rest of the exam chuckling like i'm simple anymore.
