# TJ: DEAR AUNTIE B3TA
Dear b3ta. I saved these from a skip.

They're all in mint condition, I've not listened to the music on them yet, but I have no idea why I have 7 boxes of them.

What shall I do with them?
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:02, archived)
# remove the cds and sell the cases on ebay
:D
edit: and did you ask permission of the skip owner? otherwise its theft! :p
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:03, archived)
# Yeah.
The skip was my dad's.

# i think my japanese
housemate has thrown a shitload of cds out. will be rummaging through the bins tomorrow to see what we've got

# Take out the CD's and wear them as fashionable medallions
perhaps a fashionable pair of earnings if you're feeling adventurous enough

# It's quite hard to drill through CDs neatly.
Without specialist equipment.

# specialist equipment
like a drill, a ceramic tile bit and some masking tape. If only there were purveyors of such magical items ;)
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:13, archived)
# Ceramic tile bit?
A bit designed for them, or made from one?

I'll need the masking tape I think.
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:15, archived)
# drill bit designed for
penetrating glass and tiles without slipping. Not that you need it, any new, sharp drill bit will do. Masking tape is the key.
Hang on, I have a bit in my drawer.

# Interesting.
I don't believe we have that sort.

I'm sure we've got a drill somewhere though.
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:30, archived)
# Hahaha
masking tape is our friend

# Why god why.
Would anyone throw away that many, when clay pigeon enthusiasts need shiny clays.
(, Fri 7 Mar 2008, 21:12, archived)
# Take them to a Help the Aged shop and smash the
windows in with the unopened boxes. Then offer to use the jewel cases to make new windows and use the CDs to fabricate semi-sphere anti-shoplifting mirrors.

Never play them though.
