It ran from its wonderful safe cover into plain view and stopped in the middle of the floor, whereupon it was vulnerable to a good shoe from above.
Didn't kill it though. Couldn't be arsed.

I looked down, so I wouldn't slip, to get out of the bath, and there was a spider right on my foot.

A spider ran across my face.
As I wasn't thinking too clearly at the time, I acted entirely on reflex.
It took me ages to pick up the little bits of spider from my face and bedsheet.

It could've been great, it just turned out not to be a poem at all

"Well Sarge, looks like the wife got crazy and slashed up her husband something awful. The brother walked in while she was still in the act and he got a couple stab wounds for his trouble. They're still going over him a St. Azureus but it looks like he'll make it."

This is, in fact, my own style.
In fact, mofaha's style demands you use your own style. Which is confusing. I have just confused myself.
Ahhhh.

I was trying to copy him, yes, but I realised that if I wanted to make good things it's best not to be in someone's shadow and go off onto my own version.

it's kind of like the apprentice getting greedy and killing his master to get at his special magic book?

Pretty much.

However you look at it, though, mofaha's pictures are very very different.

The base path shapes alone are very different.
Killerkitti is much closer to his path style, really.
The paths are the shapes I choose, and I don't do things like he does, either. They are completely different.
Overall they look similar, but they are very very different.
And his are better, too.

At first, I thought "Jesus, I could NEVER do something like THAT!" when I saw mofaha's pictures.
Now look, people are starting to call me mofaha now.

Well I think Utrillo's brushwork is fantastic, but he doesn't always agree with me. Not after a Rubens, anyway ... all those cherries ... ooohh ...
Urgh! I've got Vermeer all down my shirt.

soak them in tomato sauce and then put them into the lasagna instead of just normal mince. Adds about another hour onto the making time.
