it is less complicated than it looks.after a lot of adjustment layers and fixing the head it was a matter of selecting parts of the head and dragging out with warp, then repeating that around the face. Then a custom brush was made with 3 shapes, full scattering and full jitter on size and fore/back colour to dab in all the particles. The rest is standard tattyshop layers nonsense.
