This is the second animated gif i've tried, the first one last night causing all manner of compression problems (which seem to have disappeared now). However, using Photoshop, how can i make these gifs not lose some of the colour? The chicken and flames in this are all dulled - is there a way to save the animation slides without dropping any of the colour but also not creating massive file sizes? Am using photoshop to save the individual files and GIF Construction Set Pro 3 to bunch it together and supercompress it etc... any help with this will be great!
Cheers, :)

just try exporting to a few different ones (adaptive usually works for me) and see what comes out best.
But you can never preserve *all* the colours, als JPEGs usually have about 16000 to a couple of million colours, and GIF only 256 colours maximum.
Also: fire cock!

It's nice to see some people still take an effort

after a lot of adjustment layers and fixing the head it was a matter of selecting parts of the head and dragging out with warp, then repeating that around the face. Then a custom brush was made with 3 shapes, full scattering and full jitter on size and fore/back colour to dab in all the particles. The rest is standard tattyshop layers nonsense.

but i'd make all frame as identical as possible [apart fromt he animated parts, obviously].
take the dither off.
reduce colours by hand, don't let the computer pick them.
also:
we's getting a new kittin!

and he needs to be named!
We currently have Oscar Wilde and Lily Savage and are looking for a name along that theme.
So far the contenders are Billy Fury or Noel Coward, but i'm not keen on either.
Anyone got any suggestions?
