Might benefit from Peter Burton, Desmond Llewelyn, John Cleese and Alec McCowen
I have met Duncan-Smith on a few occasions and have a few signed copied of his books. Frankly he is very dull.

You are completely right.
Edit: I preferred it when it was just John Cleese :(

It is a shame
because what he is describing is VERY exciting, but he makes it dull. I have twice had the opportunity to look through his collection of secret toys, false heels, hairbrushes, invisible ink et al.

I replied when your post hadn't been edited, so really, that makes no sense :)
HOWEVER, you are probably right. *googles* EDIT: FALSE HEELS? WHAT??

Heels for men's shoes
with secret compartments for garottes and so on. Cleese is good, but I think of Desmond Llewelyn as the most compelling Q.

Oooh how fun.
Desmond Llewelyn was bloody excellent, to be honest. Had all these crazy inventions, yet you still just wanted to run and give him a cuddle/ask him for a Werther's Original.
