(trying to find our mystery footballer)
are people's lives not fun enough?
why do people give a flying fuck what celebrities are up to.
a) it's none of your business
b) who gives a shit anyway!

I remember a copy I had once
where they had a whole article on how impossible it was to twist a melon.
That is need to know journalism if ever it existed.

my point is that is shouldn't have to affect your job
then you could spend the time you spent finding out about celebs trying to work out a solution to world hunger....
like beefburgers :)

like beefburgers :)
is true
but when they have their food, and people are surviving comfortably, they'll want entertainment

the only
way that could affect your job is if you are a gossip columnist, in which case DO YOUR JOB BETTER.

THREADJACK!
Talking of which... were any of you lot on here last night? Did we get flamed by someone?

Apparently, the thread itself was deleted last night, otherwise I'd spazz myself.
Someone seemed to be under the impression that we were stealing their code for our site (which, even though we're not really nerds and don't usually know what we're doing, we're not) and took it upon themselves to announce it to the entire board, which is more than a little embarrassing, even though we hadn't done anything wrong. I've been forwarded a couple of emails about it this morning, but I don't really understand what had been going on. If I've got the gist of it right, it's a bit disappointing, because it took us fucking ages to get that site looking anything like we wanted it to (even if, relatively speaking, it's crap), so to have all this going on (from people that we know and trust, but didn't see fit to speak to us about it first) feels like a bit of a betrayal.
