Are you aware of the reason that 50k is the max for an image? 250k is probably about 50p to someone with capped internet.

Second - would you like to explain why 250k equates to 50p? I have never heard such rubbish.

Third - if you are so concerned about file size and looking after the capped (I'm one) why do you persist in TJing with useless, pointless photos?

2) If I TJ it rarely had an image attached, if it does it's linked.
3) You may be loaded, but I know many b3tards that would rather not pay an extra 5-10 quid a month due to over sized images from b3ta.
4) If you really want to have an opinion use your main account or have you really only contributed 100 posts a year?
5) If I really was that bad of a nazi why would I have optimised the image for them?

I don't know if you can optimize when you save to .jpg from paint. I couldn't find a way to do it just now, maybe someone else has an idea.
Basically what you need to do though is to find a way to optimize your pics (reduce the file size without messing up the quality too much) when you save them for web.
