# <3 matlab
although it isn't actually random. Computers generate pseudorandom numbers from highly nonlinear recurance relations. The size of the data sets generated seem to follow a uniform random distribution, despite being generated in a totally deterministic way.
(, Sat 11 Oct 2008, 11:58, archived)
# lol, random

# How did you notice so quickly?
I can narrow it down to either:
- it having no distortion
- it took 0.2 seconds too long to load
- you right-click and view the file size of every image that's posted
(, Sat 11 Oct 2008, 12:13, archived)
# I right clicked
But you get an eye for that sort of thing. The colour quality normally tells you straight off.
I know in the last couple of months I've been branded as a board nazi but I'm just taking on board what pisses off other people.
OK I have capped broadband but I don't pay for it.
One I find that really cuts donw on image size is in it has loads of white in it, save it as a GIF not a JPG.
