I have
Horse stew on a school trip to Belgium - hilariously, the 60 kids on the trip weren't told until they'd eaten it :)
It was yum.

I'm not a big fan of fish beyond tuna and the main white fish (cod, etc. )
but I love molluscs and crustaceans.
I can eat clams, scallops, cockles, mussels, crab, lobster, langoustines ( crayfish ), razor clams and prawns ( especially big tiger prawns ) until they are dribbling from my nose and my eyes register full.

I agree shellfish is superior to fish.
Although I am a big fan of salmon and trout as well.

Squid is great stuff.
I have a tin of Greek 'musky octopus' someone bought for me and no idea what to do with it.

I don't
lnow what that is but i flash fry it in butter with garlic, dill and lashings of cracked black pepper. ( you can exchange octopus for just about any seafood there because that's how I like it all ).
