Winnaaaaaaaah! EDIT: I love the realistic shadow. Not that I'm old enough to remember them.Although this was my fave of the lot. I saved 2 months pocket money for that! Or would have if I had been born.

I used to have 3 and lived on them, I still have an original Donkey Kong Junior in it's box,
so I know them well, and yeh, thanks for noticing, that bloody shadow added about another 2 hours onto making this bloody thing!

Oh the pain of playing then in the back of the car when it got dark, waiting for the streetlights!

Or under bedsheets with a torch...
This game is actually unplayable because there are 5 moves across the screen but the enemies only take 3 moves to descend, but lets pretend that this is Game B and Game A shows the enemy at the top for 2 frames before it starts to move, eh? ;)

Prolly woulda badly drained the battery, tho,
as it woulda been a filament bulb (as there were no white LEDs then).

I thought this thru far too much, but y'see, as a bairn,
I fancied I could design a better Game & Watch game and used to spend ages sketching out the LCD plates and writing down how the game would play and why and such, so this actually is just me going back to my childhood. I had an idea to put one LCD over another at one point and lo and behold they came up with the same idea late in the day!
