It kind of looks like something out of that video of people in other countries skinning raccoons alive.

The worst part was the 5 minute long shot of the skinned raccoon trying to do something to save itself, it's head laboring to move back and forth on it's bare spine, swinging one to one side and then the other in pure, bare stripped robotic survival mode.

it would have been in shock and so the extreme pain probably would have passed by this point.

I would have liked to believe that there was some sort of merciful stop gap measure to keep an animal from experiencing the pain of being skinned alive. I would have thought before you'd just die but that wasn't the case.

It was pretty terrible. There were three animals. One was a dog. They were not very nice to the dog.

as a shock video against what was going on in whatever country it was in (the people were speaking some kind of slavic sounding language) but I can't remember any of the information accompanying it when it got on here.

but at least they don't take brag videos and they largely kill for hunger, not because they're dicks.

and male lions will invade other prides, drive out the other male lions, and kill the cubs to get the lionesses to go in heat, which they do, then they mate with the lions.

and the lion thing i get - they want to perpetuate their own bloodline. while it's disgusting, at least it's not "watch me be cruel for a laugh".

And if a bunch of people did what the lions do you would think they were absolutely insane.
I think the real problem is that it's harder to generalize about animals than you think.
Take animal mating. It ranges everywhere from courtship that ends in the males dying for the sake of their genetic legacy to life time mating partners to rape to hemaphrodidic 69ing. There's no moral generalities being upheld there. Everything is permitted.

are actually just cases of what dolphins do to seals: stear them toward jetty rocks so the dolphins can smash the seals up against them.

And I'm sure every dolphin has yelled "Son of a bitch"

I wonder how sentient a creature has to be before the sadism kicks in.
