# woo
Now thats the kinda ace that i need to figure out how to draw. Any tips? I'm just using MSpaint at the moment

# I'm not hugely experienced with pixel art (this was really my first serious attempt at it), but a few things I noticed when doing it:
sketch out your ideas first always helps, rather than jumping straight into making it...

Too much detail can make it look to confusing and messy.

look at some of the pixel art on Deviant Art and games that you like to get an idea of interesting styles...

What you have there already is spot on though :D

# Cheers :)
it seems to be difficut to find any tutorial type stuff on it out there worth reading. Unless you want to 'learn how to draw Mario'

I was thinking about doing a sketch to begin with
the blue hatted/haired guy literally started with a single pixel, with no objective. So maybe thats a starting point :)

That, and trying to find a pixel friendly alternative to mspaint. just something with a grid and an easier to use colour pallet would be a godsend.

# I was using PS CS4
at the higher zoom levels, there is a grid, and the pallette is great.

# I dunno about the pallette
but MSPaint has a grid . . .
