I spent many hours removing Lincoln
from the memorial so i guess this is
a sad excuse to use the image!

They jumped all over me and said i could only post one time a day, and now you have done it twice. Perhaps the rule only applies to me?

The problem is when someone posts about three closely spaced new threads. A reply does not push a old picture off the bottom of the board whereas a new thread does. Hence several close spaced threads are seen as attention seeking and slightly inconsiderate.
During the day when the board is moving quickly people may start several threads but with many other threads between them.
there is no 'rule' that says you can only start one thread per day. Fairly often, depending on which particular clique is posting at the time, people will get away with consecutive threads but with an hour or so between them.

Unless "post a couple of times and don't cunt the place up like pasanonic always does" counts as being in a clique, of course.

the behaviour at the other times seems to vary considerably.
And of course, if one of the cliques memebers pearoasts, posts a three meg gif etc, it's fine.
although interestingly pasanonic seems not to be in a clique.
