I watched this again on Saturday
and was even more awe-struck than the first time I watched it.
But where was Oldman's nomination? He's the unsung hero of that film in acting terms

Agreed.
Heaths performance was just brilliant in my opinion, and is the reason that I now consider The Dark Knight to be second, if not the best Batman film.
Second after Batman and Robin obviously ;)

It was so bad,
that despite being quite young when it came out, I still never managed to watch more than about 20 minutes of it.
