You see the Paul Merton thing a couple of days ago?
I had the misfortune of talking to a twat here and they claimed they went to film school.
Not only did they know know who Hitchcock was but they'd never seen Fight Club or heard of the Pixies (they were 40)
(, Mon 2 Mar 2009, 22:14, archived)
# That all made sense until
The Pixies. What do they have to do with Films? Well, apart from Monkey gone to Heaven being used at the end of Fight Club.

# You mean Where is my Mind.
A defining song in the film.

# Oops.
Unfortunately I was listening to monkey gone to heaven earlier and it is stuck there :) Still, the point stands ;)

# I love the way you don't comment of the Hitchcock bit:P
(, Mon 2 Mar 2009, 22:21, archived)
# Oh sorry,
I read it as you wrote it, that he knew twice as much as you who Hitchcock was ;)

I didn't think that really deserved comment though, just shocked silence :D
