# I dont know. I really dont.
I just wanted to say i just saw crank 2 and thought it was fudging awesome. The stupidest, most OTT, funny action film EVARZ. Its what cinemas are invented for.

# Oh, it was good then?
Should I try and find it on the net then? :D
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:46, archived)
# if you want then
then. then then. I saw the first one via torrents anyway. Wouldnt've seen it otherwise as ive become somewhat sick of OTT action films. Crank, shoot-em-up and now crank 2 have proven that the sillier they go, the more i enjoy them.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:48, archived)
# Yeah so did I, but only recently after I'd watched a few more statham films
the guy is a legend at OTT acting :D
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:49, archived)
# What about
"In the name of the King"? Where he plays 'Farmer' from the game Dungeon Siege ( which i love ) and a rather decrepit Dirty Burt Reynolds plays King Konrad.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:50, archived)
# I havent seen them :(
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:51, archived)
# I was told...
that Stallone had a new action film in the works, starring him, Jason Statham and a cameo from Arnie. Not sure if I am excited or revolted. Or both.

# just found it on google yeah,

# 0_0

(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:58, archived)
# haha holy shit
just look at that cast list...
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:04, archived)
# all it needs is van damme and chuck norris
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:06, archived)
# i've never really understood the appeal of chuck norris
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:19, archived)
# have you seen the new, ish, Jean claude van Damme film JCVD?
I was rather enamoured with that.

Crank is a steaming pile of horsewank though.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:11, archived)
# It's fucking rubbish.
And I gave you the option to download it directly when I offered you an FTP account but you poo-pooed that idea ;)
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:49, archived)
# >:(
Don't get all angry at me now gramps, I thought you were happy you completed a game on your game boy ;)
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:50, archived)
# I'm sad now.
It's been so long since I completed anything that i forgot how empty I feel afterwards.
Can't wait for bioshock 2 now.

I have Crysis warhead I suppose but that's not nearly as fun.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:53, archived)
# haha!
erm.... I cant think of any more RPGs
I know they are making a new fallout for 2010 release
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:54, archived)
# oh that reminds me.
I've not installed 'the pitt' for fallout 3 yet.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:56, archived)
# Yeah Ive not got any the DLC yet... probably wont til after uni either :(
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:57, archived)
# *you* thought it was fucking rubbish
just as *i* thought it was ace.

Opinions, m'lad!
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:51, archived)
# yeah but I'm a cultured grown up.
Therefore I'm not impressed with implausible situations and big bangs ;)
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:55, archived)
# me neither. The big budget, explosion filled films of late bore me.
But its so damn silly, its more like a parody, and was a billion times funnier than the utter shit that was tropic thunder.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:57, archived)
# now you see I liked tropic thunder
for not taking itself seriously and being an almost perfect pisstake of the genre.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:59, archived)
# WOULD YOU TWO GET A ROOM!
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:00, archived)
# we will. full of films, beer and food
and fuck you if you think you are coming in.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:01, archived)
# :(
You're such a cunt!
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:02, archived)
# I did enjoy watching the behind the scenes - despite being a big budget, implausible blockbuster, the directors' style was very much run-and-gun and they used relatively inexpensive cameras
something i can definitely respect
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:07, archived)
# i want to see crank 2
i also have a soft spot for brainless ridiculous action movies :D
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:50, archived)
# Have you seen death race?
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:50, archived)
# oh hell yes :D
several times
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:51, archived)
# Haha, how do those cars go so fast with so much lead on them>!>!>!>!!?!?!!!11one
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:52, archived)
# that's just the thing, the less sense it makes the more i like it :D
truly magnificent movie, all let down by the ending :(
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:53, archived)
# Haha, yeah, it was a shame, but still, there's always the transporter films :D
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:55, archived)
# at the risk of sounding like those 'theen theen theen, how many killins?' people from league of gentlemen,
its got the most tits ive ever seen in a film. Made my monacle drop into my slush puppy, i tell thee.

Plus, you get to see amy smart's chebs.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:53, archived)
# crikey
*adds to download list*
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:01, archived)
# dont get your hopes up
i meant to say 'most tits ive ever seen in THE CINEMA'.

Ive seen films with many more tits at home. Yes.

Doesnt anyone go to the cinema these days? Is it all internet?
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:22, archived)
# cinema is for big epic special-effects-based films
last ones i saw at the cinema were watchmen and quantum of solace
something tells me that crank 2 might not be worth £7 and a half-hour drive to the nearest odeon, but worth a watch anyways
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:32, archived)
# That's basically the thing.
( re: tlog) I'm 44 now and I barely see 2-3 films a year that I genuinely consider was a worthy waste of a couple of hours.
Whereas if I was 18 I'd be totally different.
I cringe at some of the films I remember seeing in my teens and raving about only to have seen them again in the last 10 years and thought to myself "what the fuck were you thinking? This is shite"
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:03, archived)
# 44? Sheesh!
Im nearly 30, and true, this isnt gonna make my top 10 list, or come anywhere near, but its silly fun. Kind of like top gear, but with balding, indestructible english hardmen instead of cars.
I tend to leave 'proper' films til DVD or tv - i cant really imagine watching solaris or schindlers list in the cinema...
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 1:18, archived)
# i'm 51 and i know what you mean
worst case, an american werewolf in london

I thought this was the best movie ever when it came out.

showed it to my kids a few years ago and was informed "lamer shite"

also, crank 2 is so bad it's funny, would appeal to people on this board.

(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 0:57, archived)
# Tandy's heart rate drops due to old age
so she has to go on a rampant sex spree to keep her alive. or something
