Yeah, I've been looking forward to 9 for months since I found out
they were making a full length version.
Also, the Willy Wonka thing, people were always gonna hate it because they grew up with the Gene Wilder version. Both have their merits, but only Burton's really felt like a Dahl book.
to be honest from a technical standpoint I'm yet to be impressed
the chunks I've seen would have been impressive had they come out when the short did and everyone still liked the Matrix, but compared to the animator skills and shader experts at Pixar and Dreamworks it's a touch flat and wooden. Fingers crossed the story is a cut above the competition (which isn't hard with Dreamworks)

Yep it looks great
but the story is everything, it shouldn't alter from the books one bit, and I suspect this does quite a lot.

I'm pretty sure I heard him say its like a return to Wonderland, hence Alice being so much older, but she doesn't remember going the first time.
