crazily, there was a better selection of conveniently placed establishments in chelmsford, a town maybe a fifth the size.
morrisons and asda up here. strangely, tesco seems to be perceived as the chaviest of the big supers, whereas back home it was asda that slummed it.... probably a bit of regional bias.
