Clendrix & Kaol's Birthday Bash in London

Birthday Bash for anyone around in London.

We'll be arriving from 6pm.

This is the place it all happens

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:23, Reply)
Happy Jesus-Fest!

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:26, Reply)
Jesus at one end of the week and Clendrix at the other

with Kaol squashed in between - it's like a sandwich of beards, sandals, curls, danger, meat, knives, giggles, extraordinary violence and myth.

Fucking beat that, Subway.

Don't forget the kittums and hugs

Fucking beat that, Subway.

(, Sun 16 Nov 2008, 16:40, Reply)
Fuck that,

This is Clendrix and myself that you're talking about.

We'll stick with cheese, knives and alcohol.

(, Sun 16 Nov 2008, 20:28, Reply)
I have to concur with my learned friend, Kaol.

Fluffy cuteness isn't really my thing - unless it's carved up and spread on toast.

(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 10:54, Reply)
Kittens are fine...

Just stomp 'em 'til they're spreadable.

(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 11:29, Reply)
Ah well...

One of the things I like about b3ta is that it acts as a conductor of good hanging-out vibes between the Fluffies and the Spikies.

* Gives both of you a hug *

* squashes a kitten between myself and the huggee each time *

*hands the 'surgeon' a blade*

(, Mon 24 Nov 2008, 15:42, Reply)

You know I lost my licence...

So I'm only allowed to cut things up.
Not allowed to put 'em back together again :(

(, Mon 24 Nov 2008, 22:58, Reply)
*gets a selection of carrier bags*

It's OK, Doc. I'm prepared to assist.

(, Mon 24 Nov 2008, 23:03, Reply)
But I'm made of self-sealing Jelly

so knives don't scare me :-P

(, Tue 25 Nov 2008, 0:18, Reply)

explains quite a lot.

*tentatively signs up*

Almost entirely dependent on me being able to find a hotel that's not already booked up though...

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:28, Reply)

Hotels? Booked up? Around late December time?

That reminds me of something......I can't quite put my finger on it......

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:34, Reply)
I know

It's a bitch isn't it.

If it hadn't been Christmas, Mary and Joseph wouldn't have had a problem would they?

Talk about an unfortunate coincidence.

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 12:41, Reply)

I might have a tentative yes on that one.

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 13:04, Reply)
I shall attend

if I get to wear another animal hat.

(, Mon 20 Oct 2008, 15:14, Reply)
Another one

I've only got that one!

Oh hang on

(, Wed 22 Oct 2008, 12:58, Reply)
* signs up *

Should be able to make it hopefully. Will make it!

BTW: I should have some floor-space to crash out on for anyone willing to travel that far out of Central London. Come to think of it, that may not be a good idea, as I plan to shoot off somewhere the following day.

But tasty

(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 20:38, Reply)

you may consider your jizz to be tasty, Spak, but I think I'll stick to my coffee revels.

(, Tue 18 Nov 2008, 11:23, Reply)
*Tentatively signs up*

I'll be in London on the Thursday for the main Christmas bash, so cash depending I might pop in for this. Can anyone help with crash space though, I wonder?

(, Mon 27 Oct 2008, 18:23, Reply)
That's a crap pub.

I might turn up anyway.

(, Wed 29 Oct 2008, 20:53, Reply)

I am so there.

(, Mon 17 Nov 2008, 17:59, Reply)
Fuck me, you 'people' are organising bashes left right and centre.

Don't you have friends in real life?

(, Wed 19 Nov 2008, 9:15, Reply)
There's the weird thing we have

where we quite like meeting each other. In real life.

It's a social thing.

(, Sat 29 Nov 2008, 12:47, Reply)
Has anyone

Ever attended a bash, not partaken in an alcoholic beverage all evening and survived to tell the tale?

If so im in, but not drinking :(

(, Wed 3 Dec 2008, 13:34, Reply)
Halfy will remember everything the next day.

*steers clear of Halfy*

(, Wed 3 Dec 2008, 14:25, Reply)
I realise

my face scares women away, but I never knew Sobriety did as well!

(, Wed 3 Dec 2008, 21:18, Reply)
Yeah, I have a few times

I mean that honestly.

It's ok, you won't be the first.

(, Wed 3 Dec 2008, 14:41, Reply)
Oh yes, I forgot about that!

That's right, Halfy - our favourite drunken lunatic has attended bashes sober and remained so. If he can, you'll be fine.

(, Wed 3 Dec 2008, 23:15, Reply)
very sorry all

Can't make it, a cinema trip with a woman who owns an 18" truncheon, pepper spray*, a killer sense of humour and a comedy life that combines CHCB and Groucho Marx is too good to turn down

*A policewoman, but not *that* one Kaol.

will buy you both birthday drinkies next time, plus I will be able to drink

(, Thu 4 Dec 2008, 21:42, Reply)
Here's to next time!

(, Thu 4 Dec 2008, 22:53, Reply)
Sorry guys

But I'm going to have to swerve this one.

Due to MOT, tax and and an unexpected puncture on my car, the V8 beast appears to have eaten an extra £800 this month, eating quite heavily into my 'fun things' budget for the month.

I'll definitely be around for the first bash of the new year though.

(, Tue 16 Dec 2008, 19:33, Reply)

shame! But fair enough, as long as you make good on your promise to be back here soon :)

(, Wed 17 Dec 2008, 13:06, Reply)

Would love to make it but I've got to be up for a taxi at 4am :/

Very likely to give it a miss although staying up and drinking my way through to 4 (and onto a plane at 7) does have an appeal to it...

(, Wed 17 Dec 2008, 14:38, Reply)

I'm working tonight. If anyone fancies moseying down to the ship and shovell after hours then I will be there after 11:30ish
