Wolfie

Do you have an suggestions, idealy I think it would be best to find somewhere without loads of music at least not load as talking and drinking should be the focus. I am looking into how may folk I cazn provide with somewhere to lay their head, depending how many folk stay here then harborne could be a good location. Possibly the new inn or the green man.

Edit: This is where the green man is
Edit2: The only review I can find of it I think this will be the place

that looks fine to me

if it is really like that.

however please could I have a chaperone from the station?

I've only ever been to the green man

in the day, never in the evening. Has great food and the potential for any kind of disco is low given the layout.

on the other hand it is a long way from the city centre, ie. too far to walk.

There are a few weatherspoons in the city centre, which have no music, or alternatively there's the tap and spile in town which is good with a huge selection of real ales

I have never been there but the tap and spile looks good.

Done we have a venue

As I missed the main b3ta Brum bash...

I'm in Brum on that particular evening, just down the road on John Bright Street at the Victoria for The Diamond Rendezvous.

If I can manage to stumble past Spearmint Rhino, I might make it as far as the Tap & Spile but it will be late... are you making plans for a hardcore late nighter somewhere?

Thinking off to snobs after pubage

(, Mon 6 Mar 2006, 17:00, Reply)
I'm working in london the night before

and drving to donnington the morning after...
I don't think I'll make it if I hit snobs!
T&S should be good though, are we going to meet there or elsewhere? I can meet people at new street, as that's where my bus would drop me off anyway if that's easier
