Yeah to be fair they are excellent
I used to own a machete that belonged to my grandad in is days in the south american jungle. it had his initials cut in to the handle.

If I was to go and do jungle stuff i'd want a machete in each hand i reckon. As with so many things jungling is improved by madly flailing a machete in each hand.

The second most common fatal injury in the jungle
is from machete's. Almost always the injury is to the left leg where the person has swung at a branch in their with their right hand, missed and gone straight into their thigh.
The first is a tree falling on you as you sleep.
