This is a link post How the US State Department reacted when it found out about Boris.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I pass you now to Mark C. Toner - Deputy Spokesperson, Department of State who was recorded discovering the harsh reality of Boris' appointment.

This is a normal post I hate boris...
but I'd argue its hypocritical state of affiars: the post is a bunch of diplomats acting undiplomatically, because they think a new diplomat is undiplomatic...

like maybe don't grin and laugh as the US state Dep when you hear of the new Chance EQ from the UK... that would be diplomacy...

bit fucking pot kettle and black lives matter if you ask me.

(i have no idea what that last sentence means)

This is a normal post About as diplomatic a diplomat could be if he was good at diplomacy.
What I don't understand is why lots of people were calling for Boris to go after the leave vote, then he went and they were all saying he should stay and clear the mess up, and now he has that responsibility at least in regard to the UK's role internationally, everyone is slagging him off. I'll admit I thought he was a surprising choice for Foreign Secretary, but the fact Hunt is still in place was a bigger surprise unless May is giving him enough rope to hang himself. We should be very grateful that Cameron and his cohort of mutually back-slapping sycophants have gone, and in particular that austerity-at-all-costs Osborne, has been dropped.

This is a normal post It's just the tories doing exactly what they want
With no opposition to hold them to account. I'm surprised she didn't pop Jeffrey Archer and Jonathan Aitken in there. Why not?
(, Fri 15 Jul 2016, 14:59, Reply)
This is a normal post Absolutely - no effective opposition.
The Liberals are shot for years to come following their stint as the Tories' bitches, the Greens have never had the numbers to be effective, and Labour is in a shambles - the best leader they could offer was the ineffective Miliband followed by Mr Lack-of-charisma and EU turncoat Corbyn.

What's the difference between Jeremy Corbyn and an old dishcloth?
Nothing.

This is a normal post LDs would do better if they ditched their leader I'm sure
He looks and sounds like a first year student canvasser. In fact I wouldn't trust him knocking on doors, maybe just leafleting

One of the B3ta's politicians on here yesterday was saying that no one would know how much a fuck-tard Boris is, although there was a video on the BBC showing how other diplomats reacted to the news and they all know exactly how much of a fuck-tard he is.

But what do i know? I'm not a B3ta politician working in design in an office.

This is a normal post Hmm that barb might just be for me.
The point I was trying to make is that they have bought into his bumbling buffoon persona.
It's an act and one that's served him well over the years.

This is a normal post They clearly haven't and never will, they know exactly what he's like and they have done for a while.
If anyone can be accused of buying into his buffoon persona it's the people who voted him in as mayor of London and listened to him leading up to the referendum.
(, Fri 15 Jul 2016, 16:38, Reply)
This is a normal post Wait, are you arguing that he's a buffoning 'fucktard' for real or that it's just an act.
Because you appear to have argued both sides in this thread alone.
(, Fri 15 Jul 2016, 19:27, Reply)
This is a normal post I'm not arguing.
I'm saying that everyone knows his act and are wise to it.

You said they aren't.

This is a normal post So... why are they fucking smirking?
That's not the reaction to someone that's a dangerous populist that can not only talk labour leaning London to vote him in (twice) and talk the uk into voting for exit despite everyone with a degree in economics saying this will be terrible.

Faced with a man that has that kind of populist power, you fucking smirk?
Really?

Bollocks.

This is a normal post his job isnt appealing to the brexit voting masses now,
It's working with some incredibly bright people on a problem of enormous complexity and global importance, behind closed doors mostly. Many of these people will not be sympathetic to his cause, some will be outright hostile. His clowning for the cameras will be irrelevant to them except as a source of mild amusement - hence the smirk

One diplomat smirked.

One.

"talk the uk into voting for exit despite everyone with a degree in economics saying this will be terrible."

I've lurked on here for quite a while, i remember you pretty much dismissing the economical impact of the Brexit vote and dismissing the views of 'experts' (experts other than yourself, of course), so i find that comment a bit strange, especially when one of your comments pretty much stated that the economy doesn't matter anymore once we've left Europe (i've looked through your comments but it was a couple of weeks back, feel free to go and delete it, if you'd like).

You seem to be pulling a flip-flop for the sake of winning an internet 'argument', which would suggest your principles are quite weak, you're now talking about people with degrees in economics, which you quite happily devalued the opinions of previously.

I think 'populist power' is also pushing it, after what he's done lately i don't think he's as popular as he was at all.

Going back to the original point - One person smirked; another called him a liar, many stated he's not the right person for the job and don't agree with him being appointed.

If he plays the fool he'll soon have to get himself together, because it's clear no one will be falling for it.

This is a normal post Heh :)
You've been searching my posts? Cute.

talk the uk into voting for exit despite everyone with a degree in economics saying this will be terrible."

That was the opinion of financial experts. No disagreement there. Statement of fact. Those were the opinions.

Did you see my post about not giving a flying fuck about what this does to the city trading based economy. I dismissed them. I didn't care.

Now... Take your hands of your self congratulatory hardon before the vinegar strokes because I haven't flip flopped on a cunting thing.

The cunts in the city gambling with other peoples money can fucking burn.

Wow.

You got angry.

Pure internet.

I'm sure it's easy running the country and making important decisions from the comfort of your office chair, it's easy when there are no consequences.

I once did quite well on Championship Manager and thought that made me qualified to manage the German football team.

Also - 'i didn't care'? That's neither here nor there in terms of impact.

Fucking hell, this is all pathetically desperate, isn't it?

It's easier to point the finger and sit making judgements which have no repercussions whatsoever, than actually take responsibility for them.

Ignores the person above me, 'mokum', ignores your comment and yet questions me...anyone would think he's insecure and picks on people he thinks he can 'win' against.

SAD.
