I had a flounce and make no apology for it.
Cumtwat, very much like his hero Ken, was taking a half truth, twisting it into a lie, and liberally sprinkling it with more lies. My favourite was that Hitler made a deal with Israel, a state that didn't exist until after his death. You lapping it all up and describing the bullshit and lies as "technically true" didn't help either.

Well I missed some of the later stages then.
I was just trying to get to the actual facts of where all this stuff came from.
Lady on the radio this morning from the Labour party zionist group didn't have a problem with the facts of what he said just that he said them.
But if were going to call some areas off limits can a mod have a word with Stu next time he chooses to attack people with autism? Because personally I found that fucking offensive.

I posted a link and came back seven hours later.
I did begin to engage with a couple of replies but realised it was a total waste of time within two minutes as it was crystal clear only a minority had read the link. So I impulsively thought I'd bin the whole thing. So there was no "blather" and no one had "debunked" my argument as I hadn't made one other than post a link I agreed with. Your suggestion I did all that is extremely unsportsmanlike.

Go ahead, but just don't lie and claim I was heavily involved in the thread.
I posted three replies. None were replied to as they were only up for two minutes before I flounced. The first was to you. The entirety of it was: "no". The second was to you. It related to your claim that Hitler made a deal with "Zionist Israel". I aggressively and swearily pointed out that Israel did not exist in Hitler's lifetime, so you were clearly making stuff up. The third was to Cerebus, made more in sorrow than in anger.
EDIT: regarding your edit, we did not engage in an argument, you did not reply to either of my replies to you as they were not up for long enough. You are confusing me with someone else. Stop making shit up.

Just let it go, Prufrock. As a thread-deleter you have zero credibility and what appears to be a terrible memory
if you want to have credibility then don't delete threads in the future. Losing an argument, deleting it and claiming you were right seems a very poor tactic, and it wastes a lot of peoples energy

Yeah, but, here's the thing...
I was actually waiting for someone to respond to Pru's arguments then the thread disappeared.
You see, pointing out that Israel didn't actually exist until after Hitler had died did seem to be quite a good irrefutable argument, and I was genuinely interested to see where that went, then the thread vanished. Up until that point the whole thing was total dross.
So, while I agree that demolishing the thread was poor form, I also think Pru's analysis of it is actually spot on.

It was poor form to bin it. It was rash and impulsive.
However as I say in my sig... and also people were defending Ken with his very own arguments that have been vehemently refuted as wrong right across the political spectrum so I thought what is the point? He's getting facts wrong and very badly misrepresentated that wotsit agreement.
