Edit: evacuated? I'm sure he did, loudly, wetly and in fear and terror.

People arranging evacuations have better things to do than rescue smartarse, low empathy, 'adventurers'.

It won't surprise anyone to learn that he's a monumental fucking prick.

I hope he’s aware that while FO, Army, RAF, etc were saving his punk ass they weren’t able to help anyone else, like maybe some of those Afghans who are now in mortal danger for working with UK forces.
I hope he’s been shown the harrowing footage of the USAF flights out of Kabul yesterday, and that he knows that people were literally dying to get on those planes.
I hope he reflects on how his choice to travel to and stay in a conflict zone against all advice had a real, human cost.
Frankly, I hope the shitty little fuck gets booted out the back of the Herc on the way home.

sure, he's an attention seeking doofus but the world's full of em, and it's not like they were advertising the near instant total surrender of afghan force when he made his unwise booking. people work themselves into a righteous lather on social media over this bloke, but seem quite equanimous about the massive $US 3.7 trillion murderous 20 year failure, but I guess we all have our bugbears

but I think he's a cunt. My opinion on how the 'war on terror' went doesn't seem to be relevant to that.

and to thinking he's a cunt, which I'd be inclined to agree from what little I've seen, from someone ranting that they want him summarily executed. but each to his own

"people work themselves into a righteous lather on social media over this bloke, but seem quite equanimous about the massive $US 3.7 trillion murderous 20 year failure, but I guess we all have our bugbears"
I was addressing your false equivalence, not changing the subject. However, since you seem to thrive on starting arguments in empty rooms, I'll leave it there. You have the last word if you like.

just bummed about Afghanistan this week porcupine, if you'll cut me a little slack, and i guess I wish more people could muster the kind of outrage for the folly of it as they do for this smug cunt visiting it, because that's what I feel. it's pissing in the wind, I know. I'll have moved on in few days, once I locate my frog pills

'Lets pop down to tribal Pakistan, get our pith helmets and safari suits, see what the natives are up to LOL. I mean there isn't a war on and the military can always get us out...'
The whole situation is too big and nasty to encapsulate.

Fly there with Ryanair, no priority boarding, just to self impose more hardship, then quarantine in a one TripAdvisor star hotel on the way back

"Also things aren’t good for me right now, as I spoke to the journalists about my experience I actually remembered them, I didn’t remember them before.
I’m struggling to stand and keep down water, I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight, I’ve seen too many dead people.
I just wanted this whole thing to be a little charity thing where I can explore a weird country but I’ve mentally broken down.
I’m not sure what’s going on right now, my face in the mirror doesn’t look right."
Then an hour later:
"I slapped myself and did some breathing, back to normal"
Hahahaha!

As to the rest, could be anything from heat exhaustion/dehydration, panic attacks to PTSD.
